Most people use their stoves multiple times per day and if you have a busy family the number of times used and importance increases exponentially. So, when it stops working, this can be frustrating and create problems. Whether your oven won’t turn on, won’t stay on, or you have cosmetic breaks, our highly skilled technicians are available to attend to any stove repair need.
Is a stove repair what you need?
Deciding whether to spring for stove repair or simply replace it can be an expensive guess. Usually a stove repair is 20 to 30 percent of the cost of a new stove so it can definitely be cost effective, but there are things to consider. Like, what is the life expectancy of the machine? Most ovens last around 15 years, so if its over 7-8 years old and the cost to repair the stove is more than half the cost to replace, it’s recommended to just replace.
You also may want to think about if you have had trouble before this malfunction. Were you always frustrated with its functioning? Is this the third time you have had to do something to it? If so, the unit may be outdated and you are better off replacing it. If you were always happy with it, springing for a life-lengthening stove repair could be very cost effective.
Energy savings is another factor you may want to consider. If you have recently updated your appliance, it is definitely recommended to try a repair since ovens these days are made easy to break down, so that they are easy to diagnose and fix. If not, by updating you may save enough in energy costs to off set any extra amount in the price of a new appliance.
